Have you ever been laying in your bed on a saturday morning wanting to do something fun for the rest of the day or part of the afternoon and nothing comes to mind?
Have you ever been watching a show on TV where they show people having fun in some kind of water sport/activity such as: Kayaking, Canoeing, Rafting, Water Skiing, Sailing, Wakeboarding, Wakekiting, Toobing, Floating, Snorkeling, Jet Skiing, Scuba Diving, Fishing, Kite Surfing, Swimming?
Do any of the above water activities sound new to you? Did you know that everything mentioned in that sentence can be done within less than 1hr drive from San Antonio, 2 hrs max for some specific ones.
Did you know there's a lot of lakes and Rivers within driving distance of San Antonio?
Canyon Lake, Lake Travis, Calaveras Lake, Medina Lake, Lake Buchanan

Are you a true Texan? Do you own a gun, rifle or a shotgun? or even a bow and arrow?!
Has it been collecting dust? Do you know where you can go and practice shooting it?
Do you like gambling and don't want to drive to New Orleans, Vegas or Atlantic City?
You might want to take your friend/girlfriend/wife/significant other out on a date. What about Lunch, Coffee/Tea, Ice Cream, Wine Tasting. A couples massage spa is always great.
Of course you can go the Tourist route and see the Alamo, the Missions and cruise around the River Walk.
Are you the Artistic kind? Do you like Painting, Photography, Museums?
Are you informed about new Festivals, Local events, Spurs Games, Concerts?
Do you like Dancing? Would you like to take some Dancing Lessons?
Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Break Dancing, Flamenco, Country, Walz...
Are your kids bored and want to do something different?
Why don't you go Bowling, Ice Skating, Roller Skating. Go to an Arcade, Laser Tag or Mini Golf. You can't go wrong by going to Fiesta Texas or Sea World. Maybe go to the Zoo, a Park, or the Aquarium. You might consider driving to New Braunfels and going to see the Caves.
If they're a little bit older maybe Go-Karting or Horseback Riding. If you want something relaxing maybe just something simple like watching a movie. There's lots of movie theaters in San Antonio.
Maybe something adventurous like Hiking, Biking Trails, Climbing, Camping, Zip Line.
